These photos were taken while walking around with my family during the Barren County Relay For Life May 21 2011 held in Glasgow, Kentucky. I attended this year in memory of my Grandmother Georgia Rowe who lost a short battle with Uterine Cancer in 2005. Normally held at Glasgow High School, this year's event was moved due to construction at the school. There was still a large turnout and the usual activities such as survivor and caregiver recognition, memorial tributes and walks. This year's theme was 'Tailgating for a cure'. Thankfully the weather was warm with no rain, but remained mostly cloudy and overcast. I was unable to stay for the candlelight ceremony, so please contact me if you have pictures, I'd love to see them.
