9.19.12: Jeremiah
I'm proud to have been one of the photographers in the region commissioned to be a part of "The Journey Home" Exhibition project to bring public awareness to the need for adoptions. This mini-session was requested at the benefit of The Family Enrichment Center, Adoption Resources Program (non-profit) in Bowling Green, KY. (Visit my blog for full event info.) We had never met. Normally I'd have already had a pre-session consultation. This resulted in an interesting challenge for us both combined with him being tired after a full day at school. He had the most gorgeous shade of red hair...almost like rubies. He had chosen to be photographed at the local YMCA. Plans had been to photograph him both indoors and out, but the YMCA was crowded and all the sporting equipment was currently in use. Despite this and the occasional sprinkle, we were able to complete the session just in time before the rain. Thankfully, Jeremiah was into nature so we explored the grounds and did the best with what we had.
The chosen photo for the exhibition will be printed 20" x 30" on metallic paper and displayed at SKyPAC November 18th 2013.
