7.4.13 - Barren River Lake Fireworks

Fireworks at Barren River Lake's annual firework show, July 4th 2013 in Kentucky. This year's show was not as fast and spectacular as usual years, but that could be attributed to the heavy rain we'd been experiencing. The rain stopped just in time for the show, but as the light rain began to again fall, it didn't dampen the spirits of those chanting, "USA! USA!". Unfortunately, the rain did interfere with shooting but I kinda like the prismatic effect of the drops. I was unable to angle my lens up as usual, so some shots are more cropped than usual if they went above the frame.
